PROTECT YOUR VISION | SCHEDULE YOUR ANNUAL EYE EXAM NOW

Annual comprehensive eye exams are a vital tool for safeguarding your eye health and vision. Most eye diseases and conditions do not show symptoms in the early stages, so the only way to get an accurate diagnosis and safeguard your vision to schedule regular eye exams.

In addition to providing valuable information to help prevent eye disease, eye exams also allow us to assess your visual acuity and provide you with an accurate prescription so you can enjoy clear, crisp vision.

EYE EXAMS TAILORED TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS

We ensure that our eye exams are thorough so you can leave our office with the tools and knowledge you need to enjoy clear vision and good ocular health. We meticulously examine the health of your eyes and assess the quality of your vision to make sure all your bases are covered.

The American Optometric Association recommends that adults have their eyes examined at least every 12 months to monitor vision changes and take any necessary steps toward treatment and correction. If you have diabeteshigh blood pressure, or other disorders, you may want to consider more frequent examinations to best safeguard your ocular health.

OUR PROCESS

When you visit Engle Eyewear for a comprehensive eye exam, we will conduct a thorough examination of your eyes so we can provide you with a holistic picture of your eye health.

We’ll discuss your patient history at the beginning of your visit so we can tailor your exam to address any issues you’re currently having, along with conditions you may be at risk for. This allows us to understand your needs better so we can provide you with a tailored experience.

Next, we’ll administer some tests to take a better look at your vision and eye health. These will involve visual acuity tests alongside tests that assess your depth perception, color vision, eye muscle movements, and peripheral vision.

If you’re interested in contact lenses, we will also measure your cornea to determine which style is best suited to your unique needs and pinpoint irregularities that may indicate certain conditions or diseases may be forming.

If you have a refractive error, we will perform refractive testing to provide you with an accurate prescription for contact lenses or glasses. Additionally, if you need further testing for certain eye conditions, we will ensure they are completed for a more in-depth assessment.
